The Chainsmokers are an American EDM DJ duo from New York, consisting of Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall.
Formed in 2012, they started out remixing indie tracks, with their debut single, Erase, seeing them collaborating with Priyanka Chopra. It wasn’t until their 2014 single, #Selfie, that they hit the big time, reaching #16 in the Billboard Hot 100, before their EP, ‘Bouquet’ came out in 2015. The duo scored a #1 single with Closer featuring Halsey in 2016.
